Tuesday night Matt called me up to shoot my scene in The Valentine Killer, a short movie for the upcoming Pine Hill Haints tour (if they are coming to your city...go see them!!!) in August. Last Night we went to Crossroads to see The Counterclock Wise and The Pine Hill Haints. (As always) it was such a fun show! Dancing, friends, great music...what more do you need? And finally, The Counterclock Wise's LP Wind It Up to Shut 'Em Down was 'released.' We've had a copy of it on CD, but it's always great to get the anticipated vinyl LP. ( Read more... )

Last night the Pine Hill Haints played at Crossroads with The Legendary Shack Shakers. What a night! It was SO much fun and I haven't danced like that in so long.

So...we still haven't found our camera. I give up. And that's ok beeeeecause on Friday my dad surprised me with a brand new Olympus DSLR. I am beyond ecstatic. My grandmother (his mom) made an investment in our now-for-real-it's-going-to-happen photography business. The Pine Hill Haints

I have a video from last night of The Counter Clockwise too, but it was larger than 100mb, so YouTube couldn't host it. If anyone has any video editing software that would compress the video (or what have you) that would be wonderful!

Last night's show was a lot of fun, simply put. I haven't stayed out 'til 3am in a long time.
